10 K cryocoolers — vibrating sample magnetometry (CCS-7XX Series)

Designed for vibrating sample magnetometry experiments, this system locates the sample in an isothermal zone of static helium gas.

Standard configuration

Designed for vibrating sample magnetometry experiments, this system locates the sample in an isothermal zone of static helium gas. The design incorporates features and materials to shield the sample and pick-up coil region from spurious eddy currents, which could reduce the sensitivity of the magnetometer when sweeping the field. The magnetometer sample drive is mechanically isolated from cold head vibrations, and the sample is top-loading for quick sample exchange. Designs exist for most commercial electromagnets and ensure that the sample is located at the exact center of the field.

Features:

  • Outer vacuum jacket and radiation shield
  • Instrumentation electrical feedthrough
  • Compound pressure gauge
  • Adapter to VSM drive head
  • Model 8200 compressor and 10 ft gas lines
