A better lock-in amplifier

FIRST OF ITS KIND AC + DC + LOCK-IN SMU

A better lock-in amplifier

A lock-in amplifier with all the features you need to accelerate your research—the M81-SSM with the SMU-10 module offers the usual lock-in capabilities plus sourcing and measuring in one easy-to-use package. Set up quickly, avoid setup errors, and be confident signals are noise-free, even on emerging nanomaterials.

See it in Action

EIGHT INSTRUMENTS. ONE SYSTEM.

Everything you need for sensitive I-V measurements — integrated, synchronized, and optimized in one unified system.

A complete materials or device characterization setup has traditionally meant assembling multiple instruments from multiple vendors — DC sources, AC sources, lock-in amplifiers, precision meters, SMUs — each with its own clock, its own ground reference, and its own noise signature. The result is a rack full of instruments that were designed separately and required time and patience, to get them to work together.

The M81-SSM replaces all of it. Eight instruments, unified in one synchronized system — each architecturally optimized, all sharing a common timebase and noise architecture that eliminates the compounding errors of multi-vendor setups.
