In an earlier published app note, we discussed the sensitivity of the 8600 Series VSM system and presented very low moment measurement results at room temperature.
This new one goes further: discussing VSM measurements of low moment samples performed at both low and high temperatures. Specifically, we present results for cobalt ferrite samples measured with our VSM equipped with single-stage variable temperature (86-SSVT) and LN₂/LHe cryostat (86-CRYO) options, thus demonstrating the sensitivity of the 8600 Series system for variable temperature measurements of materials with very low magnetic moments.
