Achieving the natural linewidth of a Mössbauer resonance is inherently challenging during measurements because the technique is extraordinarily sensitive to mechanical motion. As a result, controlling mechanical stability of the measurement platform is essential. In this application brief, we discuss the high-resolution Mössbauer spectroscopy capability of the CryoComplete Mössbauer, showing the well-resolved magnetic hyperfine lines of an Fe reference absorber as measured under different conditions.
