Lake Shore to present cryogenic sensor test results at CEC/ICMC conference, booth 29

Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc. will exhibit at the Cryogenic Engineering Conference and International Cryogenic Materials Conference (CEC/ICMC) in Anchorage, Alaska June 17 – 21. The annual conference features the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all cryogenics areas, including superconductivity, cryocoolers, cryogenic materials, and applications.

Lake Shore cryogenics expert Dr. Scott Courts will present a paper entitled, “Effects of Electrostatic Discharge on Three Cryogenic Temperature Sensors Models,” which compares the impact of ESD on silicon diodes, Cernox™ resistors, and wire wound platinum resistor sensors. The results are based on Lake Shore’s extensive testing of its sensors as part of the company’s ongoing quality assurance programs.

Vice President of Sales Brad Dodrill states, “We’ll be attending to exhibit and talk with current and prospective customers and to share perspectives on emerging needs in cryogenic research. Lake Shore is continually pursuing new sensors and instruments that will improve the reliability and range of cryogenic measurements.”

Lake Shore will highlight its full line of cryogenic measurement and control products including its full range of temperature controllers, temperature monitors, cryogenic sensors and accessories. Technical salespeople will be on hand to discuss new products such as the Model 3062 4-channel scanner card, which doubles the number of inputs available on Lake Shore’s best-selling temperature controllers. Other recent innovations include a PC-based chart recorder utility for real-time monitoring of temperatures and settings, available as a free download from www.lakeshore.com.
