Strategic Accounts Executive

Steve Verrett as Strategic Accounts Executive is responsible for servicing university research labs, national labs, and aerospace customers in North America, and educating them on products and technology offered by Lake Shore.
In this position, Steve assists users with custom ordering of products designed for specialized measurements and provides technical analysis of customer applications and requirements, advising them on the most effective use of our technology for their research or facilities. He also coordinates the specification of cryogenic sensors and instrumentation for multi-stage high-energy physics and plasma physics projects. Additionally, Steve researches and consults customers on how we can better serve their needs going forward, and he works with Lake Shore’s engineering and product management staff to ensure that product development aligns with the needs of scientists involved in cutting-edge research.
Steve has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University. He spent four years in the U.S. Army, is a Gulf War veteran, and has held senior positions in marketing, sales, and organizational leadership at numerous small and mid-sized companies in his more than 25 years in the technology industry. This includes positions at Hewlett-Packard, Emerson, Omron, Rockwell Automation, and Spectris. His expertise is in strategic selling and creating sales strategies for proactively promoting technology components, systems, and capital equipment into Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining Lake Shore in 2019, Steve owned and operated a strategic sales consulting business for more than three years.
